Lucy Chen is a native Pittsburgher, born and raised, who studied Chinese dance and Ballet at Yanlai Dance Academy for 12 years. At Washington University in St. Louis, she took classes in hip-hop and expanded her education into Latin dance, dance history, and stage and lighting design. She has choreographed and led multiple dances in various styles including Dai, Chinese fusion, contemporary, and K-pop, becoming the President of PL4Y, a K-pop dance and community organization. Lucy is also a graphic designer, working full-time at the Pittsburgh Public Theater.
