The Yanlai Performance Troupe is a cultural arts nonprofit in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, dedicated to presenting professional Asian folk dance and contemporary cross-cultural choreography. The Troupe brings the beauty, history, and evolution of Asian dance to stages across Western Pennsylvania.

We specialize in large-scale cultural productions, community performances, and collaborations with local arts institutions, universities, and cultural organizations. Our performances highlight the diversity of Asian dance traditions—from classical to contemporary—and reflect the rich, evolving identity of Asian arts in a Western context.

The Troupe also creates opportunities for young dancers to perform in professional settings and contributes to the visibility of Asian performing arts within Pittsburgh’s cultural district.
